A true entrepreneur, Warren founded his own installation and cleaning business at age 22. He opened his first retail floor covering store by age 24 and rapidly moved through an innovative and varied retail career owning home furnishings, kitchen and bath, decorating, flooring and antique stores. After selling a five-store retail business in 1985, Warren used his experience assisting other retailers in sales, service, advertising and merchandising. 

His professional speaker debut was teaching advertising at the Executive Institute at the University of Colorado in 1984. Since that initial engagement he has steadily built his speaking career through referrals and as the best-read columnist in the floor covering industry. His writing extends to the mainstream press, two columns in The Floor Covering News, four books, "Five Guideposts To Success", "The Art of Selling Retail", "Warren Tyler on Retail" and "How To Make Money With REAL Customer Service" as well as several custom training manuals for individual companies. 

Although his professional speaking got a jump-start in the home interiors industry, Warren has been just as comfortable doing inspirational talks at realtors, inspectors, contractors, churches, Chamber of Commerce meetings, presentations to bankers, florists and cleaners. Even eulogies have had a place in his speaking career along with his hundreds of presentations to manufacturers, distributors and retailers in home furnishings and related industries. The year 2000 found Warren honored by his speaking engagement at the "Best of The Best" at "Surfaces 2000" at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas. He was invited back in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.
